Hey all,
First poster so hope this isnt too stupid a question.
WE're currently moving footage between two editing suites. A mac final cut pro and a PC with combustion 4. Because we've had FC not like different types of footage on the same time line (you put 16:9 on a 4:3 time line and then change it and it al stuffs up) we would like to keep our footage as much the same as possible. So we would ideally like to output our footage in DVCPRO50 so we can do post on it in combustion. Our only problem is we cant really find a DVCPRO50 codec for the PC. well not easily anyway. and then there is the whole which one is better than which.
We've shot using the HVX-202 (the PAL version) using 16:9 DVCPRO50 at 50i on one film and 25P on another (this info is for two films).
So what codec can you point me to (preferably free if possible, im a uni student you see :)
thanks for any help you can give.
