I checked it out but could not find the answer. What is the pros and cons of static and spining (cd player motor) adapters? What do you think about the mediachance spinning adapter? And what kind of macro is used for it?

thank you

Naber,

Spinning GG adapters are more flexible because they eliminate the grain of the GG material, because its constantly moving. However they require batteries, and constant adjustment.

Static adapters, are more limiting because they need lots of light to make them work properly. if you close down the apeture, you get grain that sits still, on the image. it looks terrible.

Static adapepters have a tendancy of being smaller, lighter, and a little bit sharper in picture.
