You can download my HeroFest entry, LEAP OF FAITH, from here (http://www.nrestudios.com/work_files/). Any of the files in that folder should work (just different sizes). Leo scored that...and did an absolutely fantastic job, in my opinion.

You can also download Matt Sconce's HorrorFest entry, STRICKEN, from here: http://www.nrestudios.com/horror_mirror/Stricken-mattsconce-msconce.mov Another fantastic example of Leo's work.

Or, you can check out the samples at his website: http://pacificocean.com.br/pacificocean_en.htm

I would highly recommend Leo to anyone. He does a fantastic job!!

Wow, thanks guys.

Leo,
The samples on your website are amazing. I think the "Swan Lake" one has a lot of what we would be looking for. With "sweet" and "light" parts, but then with more "dramatic" and "suspenseful" parts... it's very nice.

leo you are a real man! and SO talented... im going to be purchasing a yamaha motif-8 keyboard over the weekend, i want to do work like you but to master the compositioning down it will take quite some time (at least to get to your level!) -- i've played piano for 90% of my life, lol... but you, sir... are amazing.

Wow, that kind of music makes me happy, excellent stuff.

I used Stock music for The Nightshifters and had to work the picture around it.

That's a really generous offer, I'll be in touch!

Capt, as you must already know, the first time is just for credits purposes...for future projects we may discuss the best option for both!!!

Justin, I hope so!!!

Zenon, I´m available for everyone interested in my service here...this time I hope to score at least 3 movies...let´s see how thing will go!!!

Leo, I just visited your site again to hear more of your music - Great work! I especially liked your string quartet preludes. A lovely demonstration of counterpoint. Looking forward to hearing your drama-fest stuff!

It literally blows my mind that with as many entries as their are in DramaFest that the primary composers on here aren't already booked up.

The primary composers I'm aware of anyway being Leo, Justin, Herman, Sid, Brian (never shows up around here though), etc.

Leo, you should have no problem getting at least three or more films to score, if the filmmakers are smart anyway & want to get custom scores.

Ummmmmm.....Why isn't Leo Booked!!!!????? Leo gardini rocks the house and is amazing. Work with him and watch you movie explode with flaming goodness!:Drogar-Evil(DBG): Seriously, how can you pass this up? Free composing for credits, when he could be charging thousands. Leo, thanks again for scoring Stricken! People tell me the Music MADE the movie, and I agree, especially the last minute!:)

Mark Johnson

I have to second everything you have said, msconce. I recall commenting on your thread that your score was absolutely brilliant and after visiting Leo's site I am awestruck by the depth and range of his talent.

leogardini
11-13-2006, 07:03 AM
Is it the resurrection of this thread:)???

Herman, thanks...usually who most like the preludes are other musicians...I like this kind of composition but it doens´t make much service for a film composer:huh:!!!

Norm, Matt and Mark...thanks for the comment...actually I think what I´m doing wrong is the marketing strategy...as you can see I still not very popular here and I´m sure there´s a lot of people that even don´t know I exist...maybe I should be more active but I´m only a musician:)!!!

Well, I am proud to be the only one who has signed Leo. :) More for me :) But seriously, you guys should listen to some of his work on his site. It is pretty stellar. Here this guy is offering up his talents, folks should be jumping all over the chance - but not too many :)

Oh, yeah. And I am Leo's manager now, for the Drama Fest. He has asked me to tell you that he will not be accepting anymore films.... kee hee.

Just kidding. Seriously, some folks need to jump on this. I have heard nothing but praise about Leo's work, and from what I have heard of his work, I am highly, highly excited about having him on board.

Herman, Justin, I´m seing that actually getting help from musicians is not something impossible...I´ve sent many invitations and many of them, knowing I compose for film got interested...they´re kind of curious to see how a soundtrack is made...and the best part, I´l be the conductor:)...I love conducting!!!
I hope the directors like live musicians in their movies:beer:!!!

When you post in a thread for no reason other than to move it back to the top the top of the page so new people can see it and current subscribers are reminded that it's still there, you "bump" it. A "bump" is best used on good or relevant threads that may be of service to forum members, hence the desire to bring it to their attention again, hence the reason I bumped your thread and a few others.

(sorry if you already new all that :) )

They should like live musicians, it's what really brings music alive!

If you need a woodwind player to perform some parts, you can always drop me a line. That goes for the other composers as well, btw.

Wow, you are an exotic native orquestra:)...between the instruments you play I think I´l need only clarinet for drama...but of course there´s many other cases for the other ones!!!
I wish I could offer the same thing for you, but I´m a pianist:huh:!!!
