So close to getting away with no one noticing. ALMOST onto the second page. Oh well, now that I'm here. I just had some minor complications. And some severe ones. And all in all it just dont seem that the script I have in my hand right now is meant to be shot. So If I was to enter, it would be with a different film. So I sort of...edited the posts. To what they are now.

I'll probably end up entering something, just probably nothing where a helicopter gets shot down over London on Christmas Eve. Yes. Thats one of the set backs. They said something to the effect of:

"There is no way In hell that we are letting you crash land a helicopter onto the London Bridge in rush hour you freaking idiot."

Oh well, at least I tried.

Ooooh, crashing helicopters... SWEET! Keep trying... maybe you can crash one over a small school or something... just make sure you do it over Christmas break so the children aren't around... :beer:

So the script you came up with 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE FEST is not the right one, and you're giving up??? Man, you're easily defeated.

I pretty much just made a rough script for every Genre. [Like others] Then left it about a month before the fest. Though I was hopin to shoot this one even if it werent suitable for the fest.

[It weren't really - but I managed to twist it, and now I think its better.]

So I wrote off quite a few letters to various shooting locations. Etc, as you do. Pretty much as expected everyone denied access and so on. Though this last one looked promising. They got back to me and said no etc a couple of days back, I went location scouting again and basically there is no other place to shoot in my local city that would do it. Someone suggested something like. Hey why not go to London for a beak with us around christmas time, take a camera. Shoot something there.

The only other thing is if i do some things special effects made. And well I dont have the pc power to do it myself, or know many people who can do visual effects. Though I have started to look into it a tad more.

Basically, I tried quite a few times, so If Im going down, at least im going down with a fight I guess. Like I said, im not experianced with film since this is one of my first, so Im about to let other things i organised prior know that it wont be shot etc. Should be interesting one.

Now, i got to get back to cooking which i as suppost to do, burgers are probably burnt.

And thats exactly what i been doing, which is why i "Cancelled" this one and started to work on another one.

And i could have gotten away with it to if it werent for those meddling post bumpers.
