I did this once before but about to do it again.. HOw much quality am I loseing by shooting 720p then Out puting out of camera SD 480i? does it play out an Dvcpro 50 quality or worse....Minidv...what color space does it use and stuff...

if it's going out live component RGB, it will be 4:2:2 uncompressed..no codec.

wow well for the most part it looked really good...the Digibeta really held up the colors but the Enginer said the Signal was low..may be because of 0% setup vs 7.5 of Digi beta...The enginer could not bring it up enough to match Exposer but it was really close the director didn't even notice.
Obviosly DSI out would be so much better becuase it whent HD-Analog SD back into Digibeta...insted of all digital...
the loss in Resuloution was ok (and inevedable anyway
) being we shot with m2 and we where ok with a softer image.
