Hey all. :) I'm 18 years old, kind of got into the film thing a bit late (only 2 years ago), and I bought my own DVX with my own money about a month ago.

Virum - We are in the exact same boat. I would not say you got into this film thing "late"!!! Sheesh, we're only 18!! (Yes, I am 18 as well). I bought my DVX with my own money, too, only I took out a loan. So I'm paying interest, too! It'll take my two years to pay this thing off!!!

I study film and new media at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Believe me, we are not "behind". I'm glad I checked out this thread and learned that we had so much in common. I look forward to Drama-fest!!

Movie Master learns the error of his ways and has to decide between a horrid life of evil or to surrender to his ways and live a good life...

Something like this:

INT. COFFEE SHOP

We see MOVIE MASTER sitting near a table secluded from the general crowd. He glances at the people walking past, slowly beginning to grasp the goodness in people.

We see a little girl lean down to pet a kitten. A tear slowly streams down Movie Masters cheek as he looks up to see the little girl's mother smiling.

Movie Master picks up the phone and dials SATAN.

SATAN
Yeah?

MOVIE MASTER
It's me, Movie Master. I just can't do this anymore.
I've had enough.

SATAN
Your soul is weak. How can I even count
on you again for my work?

MOVIE MASTER
I'm sorry.

Movie Master then picks a flower from the table's centerpiece and hands it to the little girl.

I got involved with live action productions when I was 13, started taping football games, then moved to the paintball industry when I was 15, that ran for a year and a half, then I realized the paintball industry isn't everything it seems. Since then I have been writing narrative films. Still lacking the DVX. It takes a little bit to save up for one. But I should have one for this fest. And all will be good!

Glad to see I'm not the only "young" one here.
