I'm very new to the concept of a 35mm adapor and have been doing some research on the subject. If... hypothetically... one were to build one... I've seen some plans but most of them are like breakdown diagrams. Is there anyone who could possibly list what parts go into a 35mm adaptor for a DVX. Thanks for catering to my ignorance of the subject!

i would like this information, too. however i have already seen some threads on this... so... you might not get a huge response (but who am i to say?)
however, for some of us new to the idea of using the adapters, we may not understand what specs are needed for the lenses to use with them. for instance, maybe brands and/or specific (and i mean really specific) items that will be needed.
i just need a dumbed down explanation, basically. (primarily because i AM dumb) i don't necessarily want to BUILD an adapter as much as I want to learn how to put one on my camera. i will be purchasing the letus35 and am unsure what lens to use... charli gave me some great insight on it however maybe someone can draw up a diagram and let me know the KEY words i should be looking for on ebay. for instance, the lens HAS to be THIS thread and maybe draw something like: Camera > 35mm adapter > Lens (i believe this is the setup but i need someone else to comment) ;) -- i don't know. i'm just a 35mm newbie that would DIE for the look these adapters produce!!

go to the "DIY" section, search for 35mm and you will find thousands of posts on the topic. There are a multitude of walkthroughs, demos, diagrams, drawings and photos there. you can even find a video of how to make one.
it's all here, you're just looking in the wrong section :o)
