DVD STUDIO PRO wont recognize external dvd burner

Has anyone else had this problem

My dvd studio pro 3 wont recognize my LACIE external burner. It just recognizes the internal burner inside my G5 which doesnt work anymore. I cant find an answer perhaps i have to download something for it?

go to the lacie website and download the driver for your burner.
that will do the trick.
