Just received an email from Serious Magic (I own Ultra 2) saying that Adobe has bought the company. I don't know whether that is good or bad!

Most likely bad from a support standpoint. I use and like products from both companies. I and another DVXuser member reported a problem on Serious Magic's forum site a few weeks ago involving their newly released DVrack HD 2.0. The fix is already available (along with other fixes and feature enhancements) in a 2.1 patch kit that came out this week. Serious Magic's support folk actually respond to questions and problems posted in their forum (or by email) with helpful answers, advice and fixes. They've posted in DVXuser as well. Try getting that level of support out of Adobe. Adobe, for the most part, won't even acknowledge a bug much less issue a fix except to quietly bundle it with a few new features and sell it as a x.5 upgrade. When it comes to support, the two companies are galaxies apart. I'd love to be proven wrong but I sadly think I know which galaxy will remain once they are full merged.
