anyone here ever use a glidecam with an adapter? my roommate says it's not possible..it would be too top heavy.

I have a DVX, the 5400mah battery, and my very light weight mattebox and its a little too heavy for me. I think your friend is right, with the adapter it would be a little too heavy. They make a a strap for it that attaches to your arm. That would help distribute the weight.
