I know that we will know the order of the overall voting on our shorts, but
will we know how each section stood up? Like who had best cinematography
or best musical score?

I think Jack told me last night that in the past they released a master ballot, showing how each film did in each category.

hmmm, the way ive voted was just to get an aggregate overall total. so if i needed it to be higher I added a point to a category.

So I wouldnt take the individual marks as verbatum. I think a lot of shuffling will be going on for people to pick their favourites.

Interesting. I thought the idea was to vote the category which then calculated the overall. It would seem to me that shuffling things to get one film higher is a bit manipulative. If the movie was great but the script was not quite there it should reflect that.

I'll post a master tally so you can see the subcategories, but I'd trust the comments you get over the numbers. One user's 7 is another users 4. Maybe I should also post the standard deviations. :)

Very true I had to come up with a scale to my liking.. also didn't want knock a movie down that maybe wasn't for me but everybody else liked it.. so i came up with 5-10 system and it worked for me.
