Hey all, first off I want to just throw it out there that I did search first. Haha. Anyway, I'm looking for any ideas on how to go about shooting some outdoor shots while making it rain. I need to make it rain basically. Hard part is we have really close and extreme wide shots. I was thinking about the whole pvc pipe with holes but I don't think that would work for the wide shots. We are trying to stay away from having to do it in post, if possible. Also the shots will be at night time if that helps. Also any tip on how to keep the camera dry, short of buying one of the underwater housings. We really have a tiny budget. Thanks everybody.

The rules don't just say to use the Search Bar, they say you should learn how to use it.
I will give you one thing though, there's not alot about movie rain on google.com

The secret with rain is to back light it. Get the best rain heads (sprinklers if its all you have) and get them nice and high so they spread out. The hardest thing is getting enough water pressure to the rain head. Back light is the best tip though.
