View Full Version : HVX200 with FC to toast am i wrong?
I have a feeling i am doing something wrong here with my workflow. So i import my p2 card footage. And so then i export it as a quicktime file. I then drag and drop into toast and burn to dvd. While it looks good i have a feeling it could look much better. am i doing something wrong?

Kinda of vague. We don't know what it looks like or how you are viewing it.
In addition, use Toast to encode HD DVCPro doesn't make much sense.
Try DVD SP and BitVice 1.7 for Video, and Compressor to AC3/Dolby2.
I am viewing it on a standard SD tv. But i also have viewed demo hvx200 footage on the same television and it has looked beautiful. I am trying to obtain that same look.
So someone confirm the best way to output to dvd.
1) FCP
2)EXPORT WITH COMPRESSOR
3) BURN USING DVD STUDIO pro
is this right?
