It's a line from Draco that's become a running joke.

Jack Daniel Stanley
10-11-2006, 01:09 PM
...can we save the parodies until AFTER the fest, please?

good point

Kholi

Yeah, it's a line from Draco. No more Parodies from me until after the fest. And probably not then either.

LoL. I'll take it down.

But this is a bitchin' idea for a thread (I've said bitchin' like 3 times in the past two days. Maybe I should move back to LA.)

I want to go through and post some tonight. There are some very cool shots in this fest.

This is Pure genius. the lighting the composition, the attention to detail. I am blown away by the ability of this sequence to convey the true feelings of the main charachter. Its simply Masterful.

This thread should really be rocking much harder than it is.

So, some of my favs:

The Seeing:
YIKES! I can't even look at this without getting the heeby-jeebies. As I said in their thread, this shows a lot of confidence as filmmakers, not to try too hard with effects and just let this shot do its job.
http://www.dvxuser6.com/uploaded/2939/1160629519.jpg

REM:
The shot I mentioned in the REM thread.
http://www.dvxuser6.com/uploaded/2939/1160629504.jpg

Dear Jane:
I love the detail of the lighting plot in that bedroom.

Yeah, I think we all liked this one for its filmic quality!

Couple more:

Cure for Writer's Block:

Dead Inside:
And for some reason the party favors in this one really added such a nice touch of detail:

Such terror and horror realistically conveyed. I found myself shouting at the screen, "... but watch out for the lids ... THE LIDS!!! THE LIDS!!!!!!"

Eh, a cinder from a bon fire blew into my eye and this little fleck of wood got stuck to the bottom of my upper eye lid so every time my eye moved or every time I blinked, my cornea got scratched.

If I'd been bleeding or in danger of dying I'd have gotten treated sooner I guess.
