Hi all.

When I am zooming my DVX100 in to my focus screen, should I zoom in to approximately Academy Frame Size, or to just inside the edges of the screen?

Here is a diagram:

What do YOU guys do? Zoom in to Academy size, or to just inside the edges of the focusing screen?

Thanks.

I would say it depends on the type of lenses you use. If using SLR still lenses, use 36x24mm, if using PL or OCT-19 cine lenses use the acedemy frame size.

I think you should also consider DVX frame is 4/3 or... 16/9 and minimum zoom that will fill that frame (cropped from 25/37)
In other words, for a 4/3, zoom to a 32/24 GG and 36/20 for 16/9.
Best,
Dan
