Ive been searching the boards for an answer but i cant find one that pertains to what I need. Im trying to recreate a pan morph like the one in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2O-_1mdhGE
Ive seen a lot of talk about plugins for shake but I was wondering if there is a similar plugin for FCP or could i do it in motion? I'm still quite new to motion but i suppose i could give it a try.
Any suggestions??

I could be wrong but I think it was done by changing the opacity of the clip with the band and adding an effect from joe's filters. It almost looks like a transition instead of a morph.
This effect is combine: key every musicant ( 5 cameras ?) + 3d software and cuting and moving with kamera in 3d softwar
3d software world moving is in 2:06 in this video
SORRY I AM NOT GOOD IN ENGLISH

I didn't see any morphing by my definition. Are you talking about the very last shot walking into the water-mirror? If so, I think it could be layered. Mirror as background layer, man on chroma key, with a flash at the blend-into part. Or was it some other shot you were talking about?
They use around 17 or 20 cameras for this shots and switch in the post from one to the others. There is no morphig in the video.
and yeah - I like this title!!! :D

Man that pan effect was SICK! Very very very cool. I'm envious. But yeah, the music was truly awful.

Oh man, it was nothing compared to that old music video of German group Accept. RWM, you remember that, don't you? :) That one was shot with 20, 30, 40 (?) - I don't remember - cameras switched by sequencer like a crazy roundabout. At that time however, post processing was not as advanced as today and sequences were very jumpy.
In this music video, I think transitions between different camera angles were touched by morphing, but 3D software was not necessary to achieve the effect.
hmmm... can't remember. Do you have a youtube link?

Found it! The quality is horrible, but that's what I could find. Thanks 123lkik!
It will show you the idea. The song title is "Midnight Mover". It was more than 20 ago. I was a kid but remember my head was spinning the whole day after I had seen it.
Warnung: it's not for the faint of heart! :) Einz, zwei, drei, let's go! :)

It's very possible (with regards to first video). In Accept's video, definitely multi-camera sequencing.
YEAH! zwei-drei-vier!
Here is another one in this style: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8--KZjHX_E

Good one, but again, they abuuused the effect.
Btw RWM, I checked your website - very nice. Congratulations. In one of the fighter jet clips in your Portfolio Quickview you caught something that looks like damn UFO. It's on page 4, bottom row, clip in the middle. Do you know what it was?
Thanks Bogdan!
Hey, you're right! Looks like a UFO!!! :-D
Didn't realize it before and I check the full size file but I can’t identify what it is. Maybe a bird or ET! ;-)

Probably it was just a bird, but it looks very intriguing. I've seen worse examples categorized as unexplained cases and shown on TV.
Now you will make all the money selling that footage to TV stations, and I will get zero profit... ;-)
Yeah! Now I'm a millionaire! :dankk2:
BTW – check out my freebie @ Revostock (http://www.revostock.com)! Was made with my Radiatus!
