Hello.

I want to put a VHS tape onto DVD. I was trying to run the VHS player through my DVX100, and record it to mini DV. I see the camera has the video and 2 audio ports on the side, and i have been through the menu, but i can't get anything to happen on my lcd screen.
It's a home video, so i dont think there will be a problem with copyright.
Can it be done?

Thanks,

tim.

I could be wrong Tim, but I don't believe that the video & audio ports are I/O, only out.

The video & audio connectors are I/O.

Check out page 57. (mine's a 102A manual though).

"Set the unit to VCR mode and operate the VCR REC button to initiate recording." - excerpt from pg57

Hope things work out for you
