I cant decide between a Panasonic DVC30 or Sony DCR-VX2000, i will be filming alot of short films and documentary type stuff so i was wondering what would be the best for me. I'm leaning more towards the vx2k cause mainly i have always whanted this camera and cause it has bigger ccds and better in low light.

Thanks for the help.

If you're shooting alot indoors, or places with small amounts of light, get the VX2000. But, if you are making serious short films, you might already have lights, so DVC30 would be a better choice, (with an XLR adaptor). Having an XLR mic will make your documentary or short film alot more professional, but VX2000's can't have them. DVC30's also have better daytime colours, which are close in comparison to VX1000, which has better daytime colours than the VX2000 any day.
