Is there a way to output to 2 monitors from the hvx when using a 35 mm adapter. I would like to be able to use an onboard with flip and also to a monitor for the director. I am not sure if this is possible

I use the Marshal HDA whatever. The HD one. I loop out of that to a Samsung 23" HD LCD for the director. The marshal has in an out.

About the only alternative to an active loopthrough like the Marshall, is using DV-rack. Monitor on composite/component, and a laptop on the firewire port. The DV-rack view will give a delay of about 1/2sec, but for a director's standpoint, this is usually no problem.
