if you have footage (60i) and you use twixtor to slow it down, will you lose resolution? Final output will be 24p

i know the other option is changing fields into frames and slow it down that way, but then vertical resolution is lossed

Twixtor will do a superb job but it may depend on you footage subject, content, motion. It does not appear to alter resolution but adds a visual smoothing if I can describe it that way. Twixtor 4 now works with the interlace or otherwise setup of the project in use. It used to require de interlacing before procesing.
