Hi All,
Well sorry this is soooooo late posting. Basically we've decided to put in a last minute stab at this competition as it's too exciting to pass up!
We finished the shoot last night at midnight (3 night shoot) and I'm capturing as I type.... No poster yet - hopefully tomorrow with stills too.
We shot soley in a basment (for ease of set-up) with three of us on crew. We started last sunday with a rough idea which has evolved slightly as we've progressed. One of the problems we had was were were filming in a pub with a band playing upstairs, so all the sound has to be dubbed if I dont want awful cover songs all over my soundtrack :-)
One of the crew also had to be the actor so it made shooting handheld with moving lights a little difficult. So this isnt going to be as epic as some of the productions here, but I have tried to go for a more claustrophobic feel. I guess you'll all be the judge of that.
Once again I'm sorry I havent chimed in sooner, I've been hesitating until I knew I'd have something to post for sure. I was going to scrap it completely if it didn't look worth entering... I'm hoping I'll have a visual edit done by the end of today, record sound effects tonight (try to download most!) and finesse tomorrow. I may get my mate to do a poster for it whilst I finish up.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the entries this year. I'll update this hopefully throughout the day today and tomorrow. :)
