STILLS from FCP

Ok, searched didn't find anything that worked..

How do i get the BEST possible LARGEST possible WIDESCREEN stills from my HVX-200 720pN footage?

What I do (and this is probably the totally retarded way to do it) is this:

Create a new sequence for the still to be exported from.
Cut the footage down to the one frame you want to export.
Export as Quicktime movie.
Open in Quicktime.
Export as still image (I do uncompressed, millions of colours+, then take it into Photoshop)

From the Timeline, select your frame, then go to FILE>EXPORT>USE QUICKTIME CONVERSION. In the window, down at the bottom select Still Image, then click on Options. Another window will pop up. Select either BMP or TIFF as a format (those are the least-compressed). That's about it.

Notice that it's going to export the actual resolution of the image, not a standard HD resolution. So you will probably have to tinker in PS to stretch it out to the right size.

The easiest way (acording to me -;) Is to open the file in QT, find the desired frame, hit "copy", open a new photoshop document with the "from clipboard" option and hit paste.

This way it comes out in the right resolution at once. No tinkering. I also have found that the exporting from FCP (up untill 5.1.1) have been less than satisfactory.
