I read the synching of two time codes in the HVX book and I have to say that I'm generally good at following directions but did not have any luck when it came to synching two cams in Free Rec Run mode. Can you shed any light as to what I might be doing wrong? I've got everything until it comes down to hitting the preset. Doesn't match the two. Help

I have to say that if there is one area of Barry's book that I have found lacking it is this exact point. I think it is the wording that is rather badly chosen. I had to refer to the camera user manual as well as Barry's book before I could sync them. Pull out the manual, I seem to remember it is fairly straightforward once you have your settings sorted.
I can't remember the exact details off the top of my head but if you have no joy with the manual and still can't get it, I'll pull out the books and help.
