Quicktime Help now... please !

Hi there,

Sorry for posting this here, but I need an immediate help with the Quicktime player.

How does one disable the "Save As" option in the player before posting footage on the web?

And, 4,5 min of SD footage produced about 79 MB of 320x240 file. Seems a bit too large for the web... any suggestions as how to lower the size without losing the quality?

1) You can't 'disable' it. Also, as long as the movie is on the server, its simple enough to access it if you want it. If you are really worried about people saving it and doing stuff with it then use a watermark. If that's not your cup of tea, then embed it into a bigger flash video with other graphical elements around it (so like an 'external' watermark so to speak).

2) You need to experiement with different codecs and decide what you can tolerate quality wise in order to bring the filesize down. Sorenson is pretty good I usually find. Also decrease the frame rate to like 15 for web video I believe.
