Any Denver people interested in chatting or starting a group? There are 2 other members that responded to a previous post and we have been meeting. We would like to expand as filmmakers and meet with even more people who are interested in being creative and collaborative.

I don't actually own a DVX 100 but I've used the camera on several occasions. I am an avid follower of the DVX User forums and I saw your message regarding starting up a Denver DVX User group.

I plan on getting an HVX200, that is if I don't make the leap to the Red One instead. Right now all I have is a Canon XL2, but I've done some pretty good work with it.

Anyway, I am interested in the Denver DVX User group and I think that I could help get it off the ground. I work at KBDI Channel 12 and I am in charge of the studio there. Does a television studio sound like a halfway decent meeting place? We could do all kinds of cool stuff like lighting seminars, screenings, etc. I really enjoy getting together with like minded people and even though I don't own a DVX, I'd love to be a part of what you are doing.

Sorry for buttin in on your city group.
I was just wondering why there's so few dvxuser's from Denver posting on the forums, compared to say Portland users which as a city has a similarly sized population, but which seems to have several RED camera owners posting here among many others. Is it that Denver-ites are more into technology and more conservative?
I visited Denver a few years ago and liked it very much, inlcuding all the people I met :). I've thought of moving there if I decide to start a family.
