Is there a slow shutter setting the same way there is one on DVX100a and b???

Sort of but not really. You can get 1/12 in 24p and 1/15 in 30p, but that's about it. For any slower you use the frame rate hack and the 350d shutter; that way you can get all the way to 1/2 second.

Barry, what do you mean by "frame rate hack"? I would be happy with 1/6 shutter.

You might want to try the DVX section to get a quicker answers. I dont know much about the DVX, however maybe Barry thought you meant HVX.
