I wan to buy Canapus ADVC-110. What do you think about this product. Is there any competitor.Should I buy 2 years warranty or 1 year. What ever warranty I bought it will add 1 more year from manufacturer, right?
The only thing this product better than my DV camcorder is I have to use seperate cable for my audio. What happened is I have Roland V-4 and I also I audio mixer. So with Canopus I can connect both to ADVC-110.
Another thingw would it work if I connect it to PAL VHS player and the ouput will capture in my PC. Should I capture as PAL or NTSC.
Thanks guys

It's good! :-Laugh(DBG):

It should have a 3 year warranty directly from Canopus.
Any additional warranty coverage you add will be through a third-party and may or may not extend the warranty period.

Yes, but it sounds like maybe you want to connect and use both the Roland V-4 and audio mixer at the same time? If so, this will not be a good option!
The reason is that the DV output from the camcorder needs to be decoded by the ADVC110. That means the audio output from the 110 will be delayed compared to the analog audio output from your DV camcorder.

If you feed the ADVC PAL, you will get a PAL DV stream out, so you must capture PAL DV, or it will be garbled.
