I've been hearing rumors since April about Micron coming out with 1080p CMOS sensors. The specs are not even close to the Red One CMOS chip... it will be interesting to see footage and pricing... Could open the door for some lower end HD cameras.
Makes me wonder who is producing the 12-megapixel 60fps Mysterium.

RED is producing the 12mp Mysterium chip - you know that already :-)
but 2.2microns v 5.4 microns = no contest! Probably going to be quite noisey in comparison, and you won't get that nice contrast you get from the larger photosites.

i'd bet you are the right man to that fire.. you are competent and trustful.. there will be one day when i will get you into the error.. i cannot believe and i wouldn't like it but will there be for once?

....we alreadly have lower end hd cameras made by sony, but they cost 100,000 dollars ;)
