Canopus sent a Copy of a trial version of Broadcast 3 which supports the hvx hd formats, and I gotta say, so far, I'm liking it. I've used Vegas which I like, I tried to use avid xpress, but couldn't figure it out. Canopus is so intuitive, I was working importing and editing without looking at the manual. It was like working with dv footage. (So far)
I was a little confused when I got it, cause it was actually " Pro 3" and Canopus said you need broadcast to work with the hvx. I assume what made it broadcast 3 was somehow unlocking the hvx stuff that is in it all along. I still have a lot more testing I'd like to do. Barry I think you were right on about this one.
