Inserting black leader

Is there a way of doing this? Awkward to just leave a blank space, even though it seems to play as black leader. I'm needing to extend the black between a title fade-out and the start of picture.

Leaving a blank space seems like it would be the easiest way. Then just add any transition to the beginning of your first clip if desired. Or if you wanted to, you could insert a solid black background and apply a transition from it to your first scene, but it seems like an unnecessary step.

The only reason it might be better to have something to insert would be if you have a lot of tracks, and want to shift them all with a simple insert edit.

Then I would think, if you wanted to insert something, that just inserting a solid black background before your first scene and applying any transition you may want between the 2.
