Ok Jim, I can only imagine what it is like to own a 959... must be great to be you. Do you ever get to drive it ? I mean legally ? I don't think it was ever federalized... in any case it makes a hell of a prop.

If memory serves, it was federalized in 2003. Several federalized their own cars individually beforehand.

Or I could be wrong.

Good to see fellow P-car enthusiasts on the forum. I got to ride very briefly in a RUF modified 959 a few years back with almost solid suspension, I'm still recovering post workout!

If you like 911's check out my main man Pat's web site http://www.patwilliamsracing.com/ especially the "Cars and Projects" link. That 2.61 twin turbo project is bad to the bone! It's no 959 but still... one heck of a ride. I was thinking about upgrading my lowly 1979 911 SC Euro to a turbo but then along came RED. :)
