Hi Everybody,

I wanted to let you know about an amazing film that is opening in New York City October 20th.

The film was shot on a DVX with a the mini35. It was an ultra low budget film, and the epitomy of run and gun.

The film was shot during the 2004 Republican National Convention and it centers around Massey a Republican deligate who falls into an unlikely affair with a girl he knew in college Lea ... who is now a liberal protesting the republican agenda. Thrown into the mix is Lea's friend Dylan, who has dropped out of being a protestor to become a father, has recently been hired to be a sign language interpreter for President Bush at the convention. What follows will test their beliefs about politics, love and commitment and push the buttons on both sides of the divide.

The PR budget on this film is pretty much zero, and the promotion has been taken to the grassiest of roots. So if you are a lover of independent cinema, or you have a wonderful kind heart please go watch a wonderful film, or pass this information on!

I took a look at the trailer. Interesting. I think the concept of the film is very intriguing. I'd be interested to see the entire film.

Thank You!!

That is 2 blocks from my house. But the address is 181 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003. There is no "East" and "West" numbered Avenues in NYC (at least not in Manhattan).

Just tell the cab driver 2nd Ave and 11th Street

I'm going!

Flint!

Thanks for the support! (and the info about the address!)

For anyone else, you can now buy tickets online!!

Please! DVX features need all the support we can get!

It would be great to get as many DVXuser members out there. The film ended up being about 1/3 DVX with Technik, 1/3 multicam DVX (no mini35), and 1/3 SDX900.

You can buy tickets online at:
