I have recently pirchased magic bullet suite for after effects 7 and when I import my 60i footage, make a 23.976 timeline, and then add magic bullet auto setup, for conversion to 24p, It doesnt change anything, I mean it looks the same without the plugin, I have all the right settings, and after effects conversion to 24p looks great, but when I add this plugin, it takes longer to render(perhaps too long) and it looks excactly the same. Can some one shed some light on this topic.

I am having the same situation, only with FCP. When I put the new V.2 plugin in FCP, either nothing happens or the picture gets over saturated and bright, or lime green. I have put out a couple of emails to them to see what is going on, but no replies yet. I will tell you when I do. On the side note...I put in the effects from the old MBE v.1, and they work fine. Go figure.

these are diffrent problems. for the suite are you clicking the little auto setup gun thingy in the effects control panel after you apply the effect? did you follow all the steps in the instructions? red giant is pretty good about getting back to people. the place I used to work was having issues with the plugin and they made a special build just for us.... call/email them

Well will it be okay for me to just use after effects conversion to 24p, by just changing the frame rate, it looks great, there is no jitter or anything, Im using version 7 pro.

try exporting it, and go out to your final format and see what it looks like. I would think if you spent $800 on software you'd want to use it... i dont know what AE does to conform your 29.97 to 23.976, but I'd guess that MB is going to use more information and be better at evaluating how to get where you want rather than just dropping frames to get there.... you sure there aren't still interlaced frames?
but I'd call red giant either way if their software isnt working for you...
