Hello, All,
Using Vegas 6.0, I rendered my 24P film (the film's 1 hour, 40 minutes long), and it's 21.3 GB, which is way too huge! How do I make the film smaller so that I can fit it on a 4.7 GB DVD?
Much thanks!

You rendered as DV, and that's about the right size for DV.
DVDs are MPEG-2.
Are you looking to make this a DVD to play? Or are you just transferring the file?
If you're using DVD Artchitect, use the DVD Architect templates under MPEG-2. Check the Help section for what you need to do about audio.
Or, you can drop the file as is into DVD Architect, and DVDA will re-render the file down to MPEG-2. This, however, is not the better way to go.

Much thanks, David. I just watched a few scenes. Is it normal to watch one's film (on a television) for the first time and think, "What the hell have I done?" :-)
