RED 18-85mm Zoom reservation..

Jim, any idea on the exact date that the zoom will be available for reservations?

I will be gone for half a month on a shoot and really want to put in my reservation but fear missing the reservation deadline.

We will begin accepting reservations for the 18-85 zoom lens next week. Price is $9500. Current reservation holders take priority. Then, all reservations for the RED ONE, 300mm and 18-85mm zoom will close on Oct. 31.

I imagine Red reservists will get an email with the form first, with a chance to send it in before it goes public on the website?

As long as you can get email you'll be ok I'd imagine, but perhaps if you can't but can get internet access to this forum, I'll be happy to PM it to you if that's what it takes :)

Thank you very much for the offer. I was just worried because I'll be off in Lake Arrowhead which to my knowledge has no internet connectivity.

Well, if worst comes to worst I'll just have to have a family member do it for me and hope they don't reserve the 300mm instead. :)
