Timeline with Progressive & Interlaced Clips

Everyone,

A Quick question....
I shot a project with both, interlaced (60i) and progressive (24p) and i have both types of clips on the same timeline in Vegas 5.

Should i do anything special to avoid interlacing in the rendered output? I just finished rendering with default settings... and the interlaced clips appear interlaced (with those annoying short lines).

Default settings of what? And what's your timeline (project settings)?

Edit it on a 24p timeline. Then, export with a 24p template.
