Guys, this is amazing, I suggest buying one, even to keep 'just in case.' It's super strong and durable. I just shot a feature with one, with 0 problems...

Just got my this week. It seems to be a very solid equipment. Works great for me!
Great to see a brazilian business with such a good costumer service and product.

I think i am going to have to get myself one of these. When i searched i really didn't think that there would be someone that actually makes these. I can't wait till my dvx looks a bit better than what it does now.

Since you have the HPX170 in your hands, do you know if the DVX100 baseplate will work on the HPX170? If not is it possible to give Ulisses the spec on the 170 so he can make one for that camera too?
10-04-2008, 11:21 AM
I have some requests to build a base for Sony EX1 (maybe EX3) but I don't have any 150 or 170 here to check if the base is better than previous Pana models. I'll try to get these new cameras.
I'll post the news here.

Anyone finding a problem with accessories alignment on the B1 and B2 models for the 100B?
12-02-2008, 08:26 AM
I just got a plate for my dvx 100b and by following the basic instructions for installing for the dvx 100(removing old plastic plate) I found the metal plate will not lie flat on the camera. No instructions but I figured it out.
You need to remove the old screws on your camera, leave the plastic plate in place on the camera and install the new metal plate on top of the old plastic plate with the longer screws which are provided. Now it's nice and flat and snug.
It does make the camera a good bit heavier but since my original plate failed it is the best solution.

"No instructions but I figured it out."
Sorry about that, I send specific instructions for the DVX100b about not removing the original plastic plate and replacing the screws with the new/longer ones. Maybe you got a wrong model instructions (for the DVX100a) where plate is replaced.
The problem is that Panasonic changed the bottom camera shape in DVX100b.
Are these still in production? I emailed but have received to reply. Thanks.

do they still sell this?
I'd also like to know if these are still being sold.
