So, I was walking my dog today and I got a call offering me some video work later in the afternoon. The job was to go to the airport and videotape the Governor's press conference. Nothing strange about that, right?
Well, then I found out that the person behind the person hiring me is non-other than the candidate running against the Gov. They want the footage to use in negative-attack ads. I like our Governor and I don't trust the other candidate any further than I could throw her, but money's money, right?
So, I went home to gather my equipment and as I'm getting ready to leave, I get a call cancelling the whole thing. I've never done a press conference before (I was kinda stoked about getting a press-kit), and I tossed around the idea of just going out there for the hell of it. I thought that it could at least give me something to add to my reel, but here I am. I think I'll just do laundry instead.
Thanks for reading,
Chris
