It would be cool, if the watch and the glasses displayed at IBC; came at a special price for reservation holders, perhaps a Red edition to go along with the cool camera and lense.

I'm sure I'm not the only one. Say the 1000 that's already reserved for the Red One, the future 750 for the zoom lense. Make it an even 2000 package, and throw in the glasses and watch- delivery date tbo.

Well this is Jim's call. These fist 100 not only had the advantage of making a quick decision, but were in the right time and right place to find out about it first. Nevertheless, some win, some lose.

More important to me, I want a T-Shirt & hat so that I can advertise my support of RED. I am going to find out how to get one.

I saw them at IBC, and while I may not be worthy of the "cool" gifts, I sure think I am good enough for a T-Shirt and Hat!

Right time, not necessarily place. You can read Sam D's posts at dvinfo regarding his phone efforts to get on the list. I have a similar story, as do a few others. Quick decision, yes. Constantly checking for Red.com to update the morning of NAB, making a quick call to the bank, then calling RED over and over. I was suprised and thrilled that by midday when I finally got through that they were only up to #72.

I'm jazzed to be getting a special surprise (hoping it's something I can use with RED), but I'm really jazzed over how RED is shaping up. Since I placed my res it just keeps getting better and better. I hear you about the cap and shirt, Jay, or at least the cap since I always trash my shirts or get pasta sauce on them. Hopefully all res holders will get a cap.

To me, we've already received a number of "special surprises" - the price of the RED One camera, the price of the 18-85mm zoom, the price of the 300mm lens, and the features of the REDCINE software.

Another small special surprise for the first 100 reservers would be appreciated, but if not, I'm just totally stoked with the big surprises I already have!

Well as far as hats go I was asked upon reserving what hat size and colour I wanted, as they would be sending me one with my Red reservation number stitched into it at some point. FYI

I know that Red all around is doing amazing stuff, which is more than I could have imagined, at prices that I would have thought impossible. I truly support it, and admire what thier doing to allow in my opinion, everyone a fair shot- "Leveling the playing field." I don't have the words for that. This all has me incredibly excited, and thankfull. I was just wondering if there would be enough interest in having ( available for purchase ) a red edition sunglasses, and watch that we see on the website daily. I for one would be very interested. My prices originally were totally off as I'm not an accessory's buyer. I don't own sunglasses, or a watch.

I was not trying to be ungrateful. I am glad RED is doing so many wonderful things and offering so many great "surprises" as you call them, but at the risk of sounding like a jerk, I expect them too. Jim has set a high bar and he's staked his rep on this thing. He's going to blow us all away because the first person he has to impress, is himself. I have no doubt that Jim's own expectations for the camera are far beyond ours. He is surrounded by the best minds he could find, with seasoned, personal experience in the field he chosen.

To fail to surprise me would in fact, be the surprise.

I just want to camera to be on time.

I am a starving artist and I will starve even more if there are delays.

I borrowed and combo my credits cards to make the deposit.

I doesn't matter anyway. This camera is dream come true.
