I'm going to be outputting our docu to dvd soon to be viewed with a LCD Data projector. What should I take into mind? What settings should I use? Is there any brightness or gamma adjustments I should make for that type of system.

Thanks.

every LCD is different, sux i know, but just like the bulbs in a lighting kit, after so many hours of use the LCD bulbs get dimmer, this can affect the color that apears on screen. the good thing is that LCD's have menu's that allow you to alter the RGB balance or sometimes how it views your color temp. Im speaking of the common type of projectors used for trade shows and such, uasually 2000-5000 Lumens. Most LCD controls are simmilar to regular TV controls, hue, tint, brightness, contrast, and so on. the more professional models offer RBG ballancing and such. im not sure if your talking about projecting out of a 10k projector or above, these more semi-pro projectors offer a much higher degree of color control. but in general you can alter your color with the projectors onboard menu to get it to your desired look. I highly advise that you test out your project before hand (on the projector you will be using) and write down all the settings you like, and double check it before the show. But i dont know of any presets or settings you can use in your workflow that make up for LCD's shortcummings.
