Some Clips Are Not Working

Okay,

My external hard drive bit the dust and I paid a cpmpany to put the drive's information onto a new external hard drive. I received the new external hard drive and learned that some of the clips cannot be opened (they have errors, corrupted, etc). What's the easiest way for me to solve this problem? I still have the DV tapes, of course.

They may simply be unrecoverable. Did the company say everything was restored properly?

Do you have your .veg project?

You can right-click your clips and recapture from your miniDVs.

David- The company didn't appear to be very knowledgeable.

Glenn- Yep! I've been recapturing, but oddly enough, sometimes the search option doesn't work (and I have to browse for them). If worst comes to worst, I'll have to recapture the the entirety of all the tapes (because Vegas can't find a number of the tapes). Thank God for veg files though.
