Organizing clips

[In Over My Head]

Any suggestions for software to organize film clips? I am working on a progect, and will have hours of tape to find a second here, 5 seconds there, etc. I would be helpful if I could have some sort of database to sort things out. Right now I have everything memorized, so I know what I have, BUT, I may have to look through several hours of footage to find it!

HD Log is designed for that. I'm sure there are others, that's just the one that popped first into my head.

Thanks for the quick response. Should mention I need Windows software. All I found HD Log in is Mac.
