I saw it last week. Definitely great movie all around. Script, casting, acting etc. This is one of the only movies that I really have wanted to see that came out this year, and also one of the only movies I can remember living up to the expectations.

Even though it was shot on 35mm, it could have been shot on a DVX and would have been just as funny, heartwarming and gripping.

This movie was a little too hyped for me before I saw it. To me, it seems like kind of a cookie-cutter studio "indie." It's a road movie, and misfits + dance scene = comedy. Great acting for sure, heartwarming, I guess.

I agree, some of my friends hyped it up too much for me. I'd still say its a good movie, and i really liked certain aspects of it, but the whole time i felt the movie was just a little off, it was close, but it didn't have that special something that could have made it brilliant.

Does it bother people THAT much to have duplicate threads? Really.

I totally disagree with you guys, look at the crap that's churned out then watch it again. You'll appreciate it. Try to rely on the content of the movie when establishing an opinion. Hype means nothing.
