Alright I've tried the special effects section of the forum and no answer, so I'm hoping someone here could give me a little guidance?

I'm trying to achieve the same effect as underworld 2, were the werewolf (lycan) eyes turn from brown (or blue I think) to solid black, does anyone have any advice or tutorials? :)
The eye effect almost looks like they were bleeding black, from the pupil out.

I also use after effects, but don't really know my way around the program that much.
I was going to rotoscope it, but I was hoping that I didn't have to.
