Any thoughts?
Looks like a waste of money to me.
And of course, its got PSP Media Manager, because that is exactly what serious editors need.

And of course, its got PSP Media Manager, because that is exactly what serious editors need.A waste of money for who? Vegas Movie Studio it is probably the most robust and full featured NLE in its price range. Besides, Movie Studio is for hobbyists not professionals so I’m not sure how “serious” you need to be to use it.
The PSP is an excellent platform to show videos to clients when on the go. Just whip it out of your pocket on an elevator and you demo reel is ready to be seen. It has an extremely crisp screen that is 16:9 in aspect unlike the iPod which is 4:3. (what were they thinking?)
I teach a Video Workshop to high school students and we use Sony Vegas Movie Studio in the class because it is very affordable for them to buy with student discount. They ALL have PSP’s so it makes perfect sense to include this as a feature. This is how they trade videos with each other.

I'll buy that. I mean your opinion not vegas movie studio. But your point is a valid one. Vegas will be Sony's Movie Studio if they don't watch out. (in my opinion)

I see what you mean, JohnnyRoy, but what I meant was it was a waste of money, because there is very little improvement over the old Platinum edition.
