Ah, Ambient Noise actually got passed along to a friend who's using the concept/idea for a short school project. Anyway... thanks for all the encouragement... I am about to get down to the script. I'll work on the Smuggler's Director's Diary tomorrow night. :) I have scheduled our shoot for Sat. the 16th, and that should be the only day/night we shoot... editing should be done by the 20th. I still need someone to do the score. Thanks!

Ok... I wanted to keep my post count at 6666 for awhile, but alas, I must update. Thanks for all the comments! I am really gearin' up for the film. I have my crew (of 1) marking out the day. I also have Stephen Brock (holymexicobatman) doing sound design. I'll update the first post later today and add some more stuff. I like the script and feel it's pretty strong. Still looking for a composer.

Everything's going pretty good, thanks. I am still working on casting. I have called Jake Putich (he played the brother in A Price Too High) to see if he'd like to be in the film. If he doesn't want to, I know I have someone else to fill the spot, so that'll work! Either way, we'll push on. I have everything I need, and the scripts solid.

And Jack, thanks for passing that message along, I look forward to getting those final renders as we're just about locked on Smuggler's! :)

If anyone is wondering which shots, they are some establishing shots for Smuggler's Ransom, which is the other film I am currently in post on :)

Ok, Reasons....

1. The short I thought was going to fall through did not, so I have to do art direction stuff this weekend. Probably painting some walls and whatnot.

2. I was going to play the role opposite my sister for this one. I think I'm a fairly decent actor, and I wrote the lines for myself. Anyway, I chipped my fake front tooth (fake teeth from an accident when I was a kid) and had an appointment yesterday to get it fixed up. Well, I wrote down 4:30 PM for the appointment, instead of 9:30 AM. So alas, I did not get my tooth fixed, and I sure as heck ain't gunna act in a film with a chipped tooth.

I had a real fun script too, and had high hopes for the film... oh well... I would have enjoyed the acting as well. I'll post the screenplay up for ya'll to read... and anyone's welcome to have it, if they want to do horrorfest but have no script.
