just watched this movie last night. and i've gotta say i really enjoyed it. it was the only cohen bro's film i hadn't seen yet. man, those guys know the craft so well it makes me want to puke. solid acting. perfect writing. beautiful camerawork. and there's an informative interview with barry sonnenfeld (cinematographer) in the special features that's worth the rental on its own. just thought i'd mention this.

Ya, this movie just rocks! Ive seen it about 3 or 4 times, i watched it twice a few months ago since it was on INHD, and it was GORGEOUS! I dont know how i bring myself to watch anything on DVD anymore. I love it when stuff like this comes on INHD for free, commercial less and un edited.

This movie is great!

I love it. Though my favorite Coen film is Barton Fink.

I concur but miller's crossing is an excellent period piece.

And i love Jon Polito's performance. Solid gold.

Dialogue is awesome-very stylized. Count how many times they say "What's the rumpous," or "Geez Tom."

I liked Sonnenfeld's comment that the goal was to make "a great looking film about guys in hats."

miller's crossing is one of those movies that warrants a stop-what-you're-doing type viewing any time a friend mentions they have never seen it.
