Thought I'd show you a picture I did for dpchallenge.com contest, it's a tribute to the film 'Saw'

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/JoeyLawrence/sawres2.jpg

Fake blood, red paint, black paint, blue paint, fake skin and water. Also put some stuff on my teeth, but it rubbed off on the front ones in this take it seems.
I am sitting on a crate so I am higher than the camera. The scene in the film is lit with flourescent lights so I did the same, one ring-bulb from above-right and a home made tin foil reflector bottom right.

I was able to finally buy that Canon 5D I was after, my grunge/PS post-processing tutorial DVD sales really helped. Now I'm after more lenses. >:-D

Love it. Are you selling prints? Because my Grandmother's birthday is coming up soon.

love the pic but I gotta ask:

Why wouldn't you saw the chain and not your leg? It is a steel saw after all.

btw, I'm ordering a DVD asap

That is a fantastic picture. Lighting, makeup, composition, emotion, it's all there.

However I can't help nit picking (sorry): There's no blood on the blade.

Congratulation on the blue ribbon... I saw that earlier this morning.

I gave you a 9... would have been a 10, but I think I was eating breakfast while I was voting.

Yes... if you are serious. ;-)

In the movie the saws are made so they can only cut flesh, not metal. Found that one in my garage. :D

Nah I was kidding, Granny has passed. But I am thinking about a Nikon D50 and a Joey Lawrence DVD. I've got a Best Buy gift card burning a hole in my pocket.

It is a $25 donation to help save for new equipment. And just so you know, I do have the DVX and camera (Canon 5D) now. But if you still want it, feel free. Got lense envy now.
