WOW! What a movie. I love conspiracy theory movies, and this one tops em' all. Kevin Costner is amazing... (I sort of take back what I said about him before, JH)... Anyway, beautiful movie... if you haven't seen the director's cut... see it. I don't know how to describe this movie... it's something else entirely... it really suspends your belief.

i still havent been able to see the directors cut. i gotta buy it :D

but i already loved the regular version.

no matter what really happened that day, this movie changed the way people looked at it. and that's quite an accomplishment

my eyes get wet every time when Costner take out those envelopes of donations from people... the commentary said he wasn't supposed to get emotional during the closing speech, but he couldn't help it, and they kept that cut.

I don't know how to describe this movie...

I can: LONG!

No, really, it's a great flick (and story... I mean real life... you know what I mean).

You know, I STILL haven't seen this. :( I'm ashamed to admit it. Looks like I have a plan for this weeked!

Didn't congress re-convene sometime in the 70's any come to the conclusion that there was reasonable probability of a conspiracy?

As a movie it wasn't bad, but Stone got so carried away with improbable conspiracy theories that it killed any credibility the movie might have had for me. He came off more as a conspiracy nut than a filmmaker. The only thing missing were "the Lone Gunmen" from X-Files.

A great film (although I found myself at times wondering where Stone was trying to go with the homosexual themed montages). The speech about the magic bullet itself is worth the price of admission

Yeah, that scene was amazing! And John, I finally will admit, Kevin's not a bad actor... he's had some not so good roles, but he's a good actor.
