Saw this on Friday with the wife. Summary:

Plot- terrible (was expected though)
Acting- not TOO bad, but not award winning for sure.
Camerawork- great
Coloring and look of movie- incredible
Editing- Awesome, they introduced some great ideas and tricks.

I highly recommend seeing this movie. If you are going to see it so that you can get your brain to think hard, forget it. It's a non-stop-action-kill-people- lot-of-blood kind of movie that is purely for entertaining your dumb side of the brain.

However, as a filmmaker, watching this was incredible. They did so many cool cuts and tiny effects that really made this film move. For example, he's talking to an informant on his cell while driving and the informant's scene is being played out in the rear view mirror of the car. Another great effect was people talking in a foreign language with the subtitles showing up. However, when Jason Statham was looking at the foreign character, the subtitles appeared flipped as if the camera was that actor. I guess you have to see it to understand what the hell I am talking about.

Anyway, have fun! Cool flick!

I'm gonna have to check this out. Sometimes you've gotta let loose and watch a no-brainer popcorn flick like this. :)

Just saw it. Highly entertaining no-brainer. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I agree with all that nucci said. I certainly recommend it to aspiring action directors/filmmakers.

I think he was talking about this: http://imdb.com/title/tt0760503/ But I haven't seen it so I don't know who he was talking about.

Texas Fortune won the ZombieFest competition here last year. It's a fantastic short.
